Centrifuges are used to separate a precipitate or solids from a liquid matrix. The come with capacities for different speeds and volumes of samples. Please use this system according to its specifications. Caution, the containers used to hold the sample must withstand the forces that are generated due to high speeds. Also the loads must be balanced with vessels and volumes as close as possible to the samples being centrifuge. Ignoring these cautions can result in damage to the system or loss of sample.
